Sidley also emphasized that he will work closely with partners to pair his sponsor-side M&A work with the firm’s leveraged finance and fund formation strengths. More broadly, the firm positioned Sidley’s wider platform and global presence —including insurance, asset management, and regulatory capabilities—as an added benefit for Perkins’ clients and other PE sponsors.
