Michael E. Lubowitz is a Partner and Co-Head of Weil’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, based in the New York office. With a career spanning over three decades, Michael has a wealth of experience in representing both public and private companies, as well as private equity sponsors, in a diverse array of transactions. His expertise includes acquisitions and dispositions of public companies, strategic investments, hostile tender offers, and spin-offs. Michael also provides director governance advice and handles in- and out-of-court restructurings. Prior to becoming a Partner in 2016, he served as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at Weil, showcasing his leadership and deep knowledge in the field of M&A and private equity.
