Keurig Dr Pepper is buying Netherlands-based JDE Peet's to combine Keurig's single-serve platform with JDE Peet's coffee brands, positioning the coffee business as a larger global platform spanning Burlington, Massachusetts, and Amsterdam.
KDP agreed an all-cash acquisition of JDE Peet's valued at approximately EUR 15.7 billion (US$18.4 billion), paying EUR 31.85 per share.
The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, and KDP plans to split afterward into two U.S.-listed companies: a coffee company with about US$16 billion in annual net sales and a beverage company with about US$11 billion in annual net sales.
